OUTREACH MINISTRIES - Overview

For more than 26 years, The Community Outreach Ministry of Stapleton Union American Methodist Church has continued to nourish the bodies and souls of those who are in need through our soup kitchen, food pantries, after school program: “Kid’s Café”, clothing program and other services. With the continued help of God and prayers from so many, the Outreach Ministry continues to expand. See who we are and what we do in the lives of others in the video below. We have several annual events throughout the year.

MLK Banquet - Celebrates the community service of individuals in the community that have given back to help others. It is a platform to promote community service and showcases the positive effects of that service in the lives of others.

Community Day - We serve the community with a barbecue style atmosphere, complete with face painting, popcorn and cotton candy for the children.  Each child goes home with a Back-to-School bag filled with supplies to ready them for the upcoming school year. There are also Health screenings and more.

Holiday Dinners are served at the church on Thanksgiving and Christmas, to provide family style meals to those that are away from home, or just want to fellowship with others.

Christmas Toy Drive - ensures that each child that comes, goes home with at least one toy to have for Christmas. Toys are sorted by gender and age, to provide the utmost enjoyment for the children. Santa even stops by and talks to the children first!
